How to choose the right dog walker (and red flags to skip)

Experience signals that matter
How many years walking, how many concurrent dogs they handle, whether they'll meet your dog before booking, and what their cancellation policy is for sudden weather changes. UAE summer makes the last one critical.
Group walks vs solo
Group walks (2–4 dogs together) are cheaper and great for socialisation. Solo walks are necessary for reactive dogs, very young puppies, or any dog with health limitations. Get this right before booking.
Red flags
- Will not do a 15-minute meet-and-greet before the first paid walk.
- Cannot describe what to do if a dog overheats.
- No backup plan if their car breaks down on the way.
