Pet Taxi in Cairo: what to know
Book rides to the vet, groomer or airport with pickup and drop-off on the map, tracked by GPS — no need to deal with refusals.
Getting around Cairo with a pet
The metro and most public transport do not take pets, and ride-hailing drivers may refuse animals. A pet taxi is the practical way to reach the vet, a groomer or the airport.
Local rules worth knowing
Keep your pet vaccinated against rabies and keep the records handy. Egypt has introduced rules on keeping dogs, including registration for some breeds — check what currently applies to your dog. Use a lead in public and in compounds.
Before you book
Set exact pickup and drop-off points on the map, mention your pet's size and whether you have a carrier, and say if someone will ride along.
Keep your pet's vaccinations and any local registration up to date and carry the records — providers may ask to see them before the first booking.
