Pet Taxi in Miami: what to know
Book air-conditioned rides where offered — the driver lists vehicle details in their profile — for vet visits, grooming or the airport, tracked by GPS.
Getting around Miami with a pet
Miami is largely car-based, and public transport takes pets mainly in carriers, so a pet taxi is a practical way to reach the vet, a groomer or MIA for a flight without putting a dog in a hot car.
Local rules worth knowing
Miami-Dade County requires dogs to have a current rabies vaccination and a county dog licence tag, and dogs must be on a lead in public except in designated areas. Beach rules vary between Miami and Miami Beach — check signs.
Before you book
Set exact pickup and drop-off points on the map, mention your pet's size and whether you have a carrier, and say if someone will ride along.
Keep your pet's vaccinations and any local registration up to date and carry the records — providers may ask to see them before the first booking.
